Dylann Storm Roof: Shows No Remorse

I have been following the Emanuel 9 trial because that’s what it seems like. It’s never about the victims’ rights but always about the perpetrator.
It’s about the perpetrator’s childhood and how he or she was abused or didn’t finish high school. It is always some mitigating circumstance why the perpetrator did what he or she did resulting in a lesser sentence. Then there is justice! Don’t forget!
A perpetrator must receive a fair trial. A fair trial must protect the perpetrator’s rights with taxpayers footing the bill. If he is found guilty and appeals, that’s more money. If Roof is sentenced to death, there is the possibility of an appeal where he sits in jail another 10 or 15 years until the process is exhausted, more money. And if he is sentenced to life in prison, taxpayers will pay millions of dollars for his room, board and security.
Because of the notoriety of this case, Roof will be afforded additional security at taxpayers’ expense however long the trials and incarceration. Dylann Storm Roof, born April 3, 1994, one of the most calculating cold-bloodied murderers of our time, killed nine churchgoers at the young age of 21.
According to an excerpt from Roof’s racist rantings, he said he had an “epiphany” after the Travon Martin’s killing in Florida by George Zimmerman. Roof said,“he read Wikipedia and it was obvious that Zimmerman was in his rights.” He said he kept thinking about it and that is what propelled him into action. He said Zimmerman was right and he didn’t know what the “big deal” was and someone had to do something.
The “big deal” was you had an unarmed black teenager killed by and armed white man, who took the law into his own hands because he thought a black man should not have been in his neighborhood at night. So, how do we define right? Is it right to kill someone just because you don’t like them, because of the way they look or dress, because of their race, because they are in an upscale neighborhood at night, because of their religious or sexual persuasion and the list goes on?
It is never right to kill anyone. However, a killing might be defensible if you are defending your life. Instead killings are becoming more of a forethought rather than an afterthought.
Roof also talked about Black folk raping their white women at the rate of 100 a year and that’s the average of two per state. Somebody needs to school that boy. Now, this is where it gets deep. White women are choosing to be with Black men. We are living in “a more perfect union”. Isn’t that how the Constitution describes it? White racists can’t have it both ways. You either live by the laws of the land or you die by them.
While Roof was researching Zimmerman in Wikipedia, he should have researched the thousands of black children and women that were raped, murdered and brought to this country against their will. I wonder did he see anything in Wikipedia about the hanging and burning of innocent black men and women?
Even on Sunday, they just picked a Black to hang in the center of town just for fun while they and their children looked on. That is where the word “picnic” was derived. If he knew of Travon Martin in recent history surely he must have heard of Emmett Till, who allegedly whistled at a white women and was tortured mercilessly and killed.
Did he take the time to research the Viet Nam War where countless black men right out of high school fought on the front line to protect him and defend this country while their white counterparts avoided the draft by going to college?
In another excerpt, Roof wrote that “Negroes have lower IQs, lower impulse control and higher testosterone levels in general…. These three things are a recipe for violent behavior”. His actions certainly conflicts his claim. His actions clearly define who has the lower impulse control.
I am not about to defend the Negro’s IQ. And, certainly there is undisputable proof of masters raping women and children on their plantations.
If Roof sat still long enough in school and if his school taught black history maybe just maybe he would not be in the predicament he is in today. Perhaps he would have known that most notable inventions were done by blacks whose ideas were often stolen and patented by whites.
If he ever left the backwoods of SC and visited the nation’s capital he would be in awe of the buildings built by Negroes and the street layouts making it easy to find your way around the city. He would also know that most of the deadliest mass crimes committed in America were not committed by Negroes, just to name a few:
June 2016: Omar Saddiqui Mateen, age 29, opened fire inside the Pulse nightclub in Orlando, Fl, killing at least 49 people.
December 2014: Adam Lanza, age 20, killed 20 children and 6 adults at Sandy Hooks Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut.
April 2007: Seung-Hui Cho, age 23, killed 32 people and wounded an undetermined number of others on the Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, VA, campus.
April 1999: Eric Harris, age 18 and Dylan Klebold, age 17, killed 12 of their schoolmates and one teacher at Columbine High School, Littleton, Colorado.
May 1921: A white mob attached black residents in Tulsa, Oklahoma and burned down their neighborhood. At the time Greenwood neighborhood was the wealthiest black business district in the US. The death toll was put at somewhere between 30 and 300 people were shot and killed.
As The Emanuel 9 families, friends and Charleston try to move forward, it’s not an easy task when you have the killer publicly proclaiming “White Power” and smirking during his testimony.
Roof killed the parishioners while their heads were bowed in prayer. Not only will he join the ranks of a mass murderer but he will go down in history as one of the worst cowards in modern day history.
The Emanuel 9 will not only go down in history but will take their rightful place where believers go. Mercy!!
