Every dog’s favorite happy hour event is back! Yappy Hour at the James Island County Park dog park returns for the season on Thursday, April 27.

On select Thursdays this spring and fall, dogs and the owners who love them are invited the dog park to relax with a cold drink during Yappy Hour. This social event features live music and beverages for purchase at the park’s off-leash dog park.

At the event season kick off on April 27, live music will be provided by Oh Valentino from 4 – 8 p.m.

Admission to the event is included with admission to James Island County Park, which is $2 per person or free for Gold Pass members. Beverages, including beer and Coke products, will be available for purchase. All outside food, alcohol and coolers are prohibited.

Dogs and humans are encouraged to take this opportunity to relax with friends while watching their off-leash canine at Yappy Hour.

The full musical lineup and hours for this year’s Yappy Hour series is as follows:

·   April 27, 4-8 p.m., with Oh Valentino
